Teacher Appreciation Group Gift- Gift Card Flower Pots

Teacher Appreciation Group Gift

Need a new idea for an end of the year teacher appreciation gift? Rather than each student in a class giving a gift to the teacher at the end of the school year, why not collaborate as a group and put together one big gift. My daughter finished her first year of preschool at Family of Christ in Ahwatukee, AZ and I really wanted to show my appreciation for the teacher's and their hard work. I approached the other parents and had a small group that were interested in doing a group gift. I offered to make a couple of Gift Card Flower Pots and I think they turned out really cute! My daughter's class had two teachers, Ms. Karen and Ms. Jessica, and we just needed to a fun and cute way to say "Thank you" for all of their hard work. The students decorated a 3"x3" note card with colors, stickers, pictures and note of thanks. The parents bought a gift card in any dollar amount, at an establishment of their choice as their "thank you". Cards and gift cards were put in decorated envelopes and mixed throughout the bright, summery flower pot. Click the link below for a detailed tutorial on how to make these!
