Peacock Costume

I love to make my children their Halloween costumes, so I was super excited when Hannah agreed to be a peacock this year. I knew that I was going to be a peacock for an adult party, so I figured I could get use of the feathers I bought in bulk if Hannah agreed. Here is a sneak peek at her costume. I plan to post a tutorial on how I made my costume in a couple of weeks. I searched and searched the web for ideas and instructions on how to make the costume is somewhat limited. Happy Halloween!

Every End is a New Beginning

"Every End Is a New Beginning"

I would like to thank all of my clients that have supported Three Purple Pigs since 2006. I have spent the last five years making an amazing variety of gifts for babies, toddlers, teens, and adults. I have enjoyed every creative challenge and I appreciate the loyalty and personal relationships I have built over the years. As of September 2011, I am no longer pursuing the embroidery end of my business and I am switching gears completely. I am currently teaching sewing lessons to kids in the Phoenix Valley, and I am having so much fun sharing my talents and fostering creativity. There is quite a demand for private lessons in this area which allows me to get back to my "teaching" roots and utilize my education degree. Please feel free to browse my previous blog posts which now serves as a portfolio of work I did over the last 5 years.
